NEPSE loses 1.04 pts
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) benchmark index on Tuesday too saw a loss of 1.04 points to settle at 475.65 points.
The capital market has continuously been seeing downward trend since the last few days.
The decline in sub indices of commercial banks, development banks, hydropower and finance dragged the benchmark index down.
The hydropower led the downward spree as it shed 3.27 points to settle at 710.18 points.
Similarly, development banks, commercial banks and finance lost 1.82 points, 1.55 points and 1.62 points to end at 492.55 points, 453.58 points and 422.4 points respectively.
On the other hand, others and insurance saw a gain of 1.17 points and 0.93 points to settle at 546.35 points and 559.43 points respectively.
The sensitive index that measures the performance of Group 'A' companies, also declined by 0.21 points to end at 116.48 points.
Likewise, the float and sensitive float index both also saw a loss of 0.16 points to rest at 44.13 points and 41.18 points respectively.
The NEPSE today traded 59,969 units of shares worth Rs 20,801,134 in 1,033 transactions.sourec:nepalnews.com
